MP Magic Socks: 99.5° Tech Merino Wool Socks
A good pair of socks can turn a bad day into a good day. Sometimes after a hard day at work I change my socks and I immediately feel better. Moreover, when it’s cold you will definitely feel better wearing a nice pair of wool socks that keep the warmth in and the moisture out. So when MP Magic Socks asked me to try out a pair of their latest socks, I gladly agreed.
The MP Magic Socks are an anti-microbial sock created using 70% Merino Wool. What the heck is Merino Wool you ask?! Well, Merino Wool comes from the Merino sheep providing comfort, warmth, and dryness in a natural and sustainable material.
When the MP Magic Socks first arrived I noticed how nice the packaging and overall presentation was. And I especially liked the two-tone grey and black colors. The socks are specific to each foot and for someone like me who often forgets their right and left, there is an “L” and “R” on the correct foot. I have a 9.5–10 US Male shoe sized. The Small/Medium Magic Socks fit up to a sized 10 Male foot and the Large/XL fits 10.5–15 Male Foot.
The Small/Medium sized Magic Socks were a little tight on me, I probably should have gone a size up to the L/XL. I immediately put the MP Magic Socks on and road my exercise bike for 30 minutes. I thought my feet would get burning hot, it has been 100° + lately here in Southern California, but to my surprise my feet were cool and more importantly comfortable. It really helped me focus on the exercise and not being uncomfortable, it was a nice and unexpected benefit.
Something I hadn’t really thought of before receiving the MP Magic Socks was bacteria in socks, let alone STAPH! So after a few weeks of using and NOT washing the MP Magic Socks, I did the smell test. They had very low odor and were ready to be worn again. However, being a little on the germaphobe side I needed to wash them. When washing, the MP Magic Socks should be washed using a max water temperature of 104°, low heat tumble dry, no bleach, and definitely not dry cleaned.

In the end, I really enjoyed the comfort and style of the MP Magic Socks. From the custom stitching around the Left and Right specific toes to the snug fit around the ankles.
